14MAR08, Fri. @ 10:57

Well, I am going to be starting a new long term series on several key, yet controversial, theological doctrines. It seems that there are many knee jerk reactions to doctrines that many actually know little about - perhaps mostly because they haven't been exposed to thorough. Scriptural preaching. Instead, what passes for doctrinal fundamentalism is little more than neo-funamentalistic pulling of man-centered heart string theology.

Well Valentine's Day has come and gone. I never really like the idea
of going with the masses on this worldly day, but I did wear something
red for the sake of my banquet date.

As a side note, all these recent school shootings point to a sad state
of affairs where these socially maladjusted psychopaths feel it
necessary to ruin the lives of others. But this really shouldn't
surprise us in a nation where the average Joe doesn't have a problem
killing babies and views humans so cheaply that after a few drinks
they can lower their victim's sexual moral inhibitions.

My NYG won the Super Bowl!!!

Well, we will find out who will win Super Tuesday in 36 or so. Hopefully more will defect Clinton's camp!

Well, the Super Bowl is nearly here and I can't wait! Yes I used to live in NY and now I live in the sunny South, but the NYG are my team. Too bad for one of my friends who is a Green Bay fan! Funny how their adopted son was going to be a young Cheese Head in the making will have to wait another year to impress his dad with Favre trivia - hehe.

Well, Valentine's Day is upon us again in a few weeks and once again people will be duped into the commercialization of this New Age ritual. Folks - there is no cherub, etc., flying around with a harp shooting love arrows into people. No one falls in love - a committed Biblical relationship represents willful participation of the guy and girl. Well, more on VDay closer to the day. Incidently, it's not too many days when I myself flew to the US for the very first time.

Tomorrrow is the Super Bowl and I'm hoping the NYG win. The Patriots are a good team but they are from the state of John Kerry so I can't in clear conscience root for them - at least not this time 'round. There are plenty of good things to have come from Mass., however John Kerry isn't one of them.

Well, the Lord has been merciful again and allowed me to worship Him
another day. Lord willing I will continue my studies and be able to be
in His service better equiped!

I pray that God would give voters wisdom in selecting the next
President; as this is a critical time for our country - particularly
with as many as four Supreme Court justices either retiring or dying
potentially within the next eight years.

Well, this week classes start up again at the seminary I'm currently
studying at. I'm looking forward to the challenges and blessings that
God has in store for me this semester.

Well, it's been a while since my last blog post, but I am able to do so now since I have an iPhone!

The past year went by so quickly, I can't believe that God has been merciful another year.
